Want to get another Lairian's attention to a thread or post? Use this cool new feature - @ Tag em' or "mention" them! Just use the @ and begin typing the username's first few letters and you will get a drop down list of members to choose from, it sends an alert to that member as well as an email (if the user has the email alert enabled) - try it, its really cool!
how to receive email alerts when someone @tags you or "mentions" you in any thread, post or even profile post tagging.
First - Turn on the email alert setting. Go to the top forum menu bar, hover over your username and choose > Contact Details
Second - Check the box "Receive email when name is mentioned." Be sure your email is up to date and correct as well, thats at the upper portion of the contact Details page.
