So I got a message that I haven't posted for a while. We have been a bit busy, but the busiest (spelled right?) has been Cleo. 2 weeks ago, long-suffering husband Bob had a heart attack that kept him in the hospital for 3 days. Poor Cleo and her furry buddies hardly saw me for those days, but thank God, Bob is fine and I am recovering too.
Cleo is now 11months old and we have created yet another monster. We have been taking her with us at least once a week since she was 3 months old. Today Bob went to breakfast with a friend and I stayed home to relax. Cleo decided that she wanted to go somewhere and pestered me nonstop for over 2 hours. She climbed my legs, jumped from the couch to my shoulders three times, and got into her travel house every time we passed it. When Bob got home, Cleo got into her house and sat there until I finally got her harness and leash. Then she got back in the house and talked all the way to the car. She settled down once we set out to the pet shop. Our globetrotting sphynx had a great adventure looking at parakeets, fish and her buddies.

By the way-notice the leg of the chair. A certain sphynx uses it as her sharpening post. We call it the sacrificial chair. Before Cleo the other cats pretty much destroyed the back.

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband, but glad he is doing better!

Awww, so cute how Cleo kept telling you she wanted an adventure.

Sounds like Cleo is a typical girl who needs her shopping time. Lol

So glad to hear that your husband is doing much better. Thanx for sharing your story with us. Its nice how the Admins check in on us when we haven't been around for awhile. Glad also that your baby had a fun outing @ the pet shop

Thank God your husband is ok! That must have been terrifying for you. We have a chair that looks alot like yours! Does Cleo scratch anything else or just that chair?
