Apologies for another silly question..

I don't think I overfeed them with wet food, but he always leaves some behind for Kika to finish.. and while I am ok with their weight, I dont know if I should be concerned ..

They are on Welness – Chiken / Chiken & Beef wet cans and Wellness CORE dry kibbles.

I usually split 5.5 oz can twice per day and have about 3/8 cup of kibbles available to them through the day.

Yorik usually eats no more than 2/3 of his half of the wet food. And Kika usually finishes whatever left in his dish.
Then Kika doesn't really fond of dry kibbles, but Yorik seems to like them and eats almost all of them by himself (there are usually ¼ cup leftovers to the next day and I rarely see Kika eating any of them).

I started carefully monitoring his behavior just recently after his stomach / appetite problem outbreak 2 weeks ago, and not sure if I should be concerned or its just a matter of preferences ?

It could be seasonally. Shadow seems to eat more in the colder seasons. I notice him eating less now that it is warm out. I never noticed it before because we had two other cats at the time do there was never left over food. They have passed on, may my Max and Jake R.I.P. we all miss you both so much.

Abby has never eaten wet food. She only likes dry food. I have bought her fancy food for her birthday, Christmas, etc. and she just turns her noise up at it. I wouldn't worry.

My two are exactly the same. Fluffy eats the majority of the wet food, and Moses eats the majority of the dry food. Every once in awhile ou see them taking a bite of the other one but for the most part they stick to their preferences. Unless he doesnt drink enough water, it shouldn't be a problem. Moses drinks a ton, so it makes up for the water he doesn't get through the wet food. I am not familiar with the type of dry food you listed but as long as it has a good protein content, few grains and some fiber, you should be fine with him eating it. Some pet owners ONLY feed kibble, some ONLY wet and some a combination of both.
